Davao City, Philippines | Davao Doctors Hospital (DDH) Eye Center launched their Minor O.R. last January 16, 2014. The new operating room will cater to minor eye surgeries such as Pterygium excision, Corneal biopsy, Conjunctioplasty, Chalazion and removal of foreign objects. With this new facility, the DDH Eye Center now has a comprehensive diagnostic procedures and treatments offerings in the region.
The blessing was led by Rev. Fr. Pete Lamata, Parish priest of St. Jude of Thaddeus. In attendance were Dr. Honorio Hilario Sr., who led the ribbon cutting ceremony; Dr. Luisito Gahol, Chairman of the Ophthalmology Department and Dr. Noel Villanueva, DDH Medical Director, who shared inspirational messages. Also, consultants of the Ophthalmology Department together with the DDH management team were also there to join the festivities.
