The initiative aims to increase donor detection rates and provide hope to the thousands of Filipinos waiting for life-saving organ transplants. Dr. Maria Theresa L. Bad Ang, head of Transplantation at Southern Philippines Medical Center, emphasized the alarming increase in Chronic Kidney Disease, affecting approximately 90,000 individuals in the Philippines.
