Davao City, Philippines – August 27, 2025 – A significant step toward transforming the healthcare landscape in Mindanao was taken today as Davao Doctors Hospital (DDH) and the University of the Philippines Mindanao (UP Mindanao) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for a new Medicine Program. The signing ceremony was held at the Gaisano Room of the UP Mindanao Administration Building.
UP Mindanao Chancellor Lyre Anni E. Murao and Davao Doctors Hospital Chief Operating Officer, Mirasol B. Tiu, officially signed the agreement. They were joined by UPMin Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Maria Stella R. Salazar, and DDH Medical Director, Dr. James Edward R. Mangaoil, who served as witnesses.

DDH is proud to partner with UP Mindanao in this landmark initiative. This collaboration is poised to play a pivotal role in educating the next generation of doctors and advancing public health, while also contributing to national development.
