DAVAO CITY, Philippines — Davao Doctors Hospital (DDH) has officially renewed and expanded its long-standing partnership with Maxicare, one of the country’s leading health maintenance organizations. The collaboration was formalized through a joint contract signing, marking another milestone in making quality healthcare more accessible to the Davao community.

The renewal covers the main hospital’s existing affiliation and includes a new contract for the Davao Doctors Hospital Outpatient Care Center (OCC).
Expanded Access: Bringing Care Closer to Patients
In a move that enhances patient convenience, Davao Doctors Care Center – SM Lanang and Davao Doctors Care Center – SM City Davao (Ecoland) will become fully accredited Maxicare facilities effective May 1, 2026.
This strategic expansion allows patients to access healthcare services closer to where they live and work:
- For North Davao residents: Convenient access through the SM Lanang branch
- For South Davao residents: Easier access through the SM City Davao (Ecoland) branch
By extending consultations, laboratory services, and healthcare assistance to these locations, DDH and Maxicare help reduce travel time while improving the overall patient experience.
A Shared Commitment to Quality Healthcare
