A. If wearing contact lenses ensure to remove contact lenses 3 (three)days prior to the procedure B. Schedule your IOL testing in such a way that the patient’s eye has not been touched that day—such as from ultrasound A-scans, automounter pressure checks, gonioscopies, etc. Any and all of these tests can disrupt the tear film and corneal shape, thus throwing off measurements.

Optical Coherence Tomography | A. During the procedure your eyes maybe for dilation (as needed) which may cause temporary blurring of vision for 6-8 hours B. Due to dilated eyes patient will experience hazy/cloudy/blurred vision for 6-8 hours. |
